A Glasgow train station has been sealed off as emergency services deal with an ongoing incident.
Train services are facing disruption across the Glasgow area as police deal with an ongoing incident at Anniesland Station.
Our sister title Glasgow Live report of the presence of a police van and two officers in attendance with the stairs taped off at the entrance to the station on Great Western Road.
ScotRail confirmed news of the incident around 4:50pm tweeting: "We've received reports of an incident in the Anniesland area and are therefore unable to have our trains call at the station. We're working closely with emergency services and will keep you updated once we know more on the situation".
They later stated: “Trains between Queen Street High Level and Anniesland will terminate and start back from Kelvindale. All other services will bypass the station, not stopping in both directions."
The Record has contacted Police Scotland and British Transport Police for comment.
