Passengers travelling with easyJet are required to bring and wear their own masks throughout the flight.

An easyJet spokesperson confirmed to Glasgow Live: "easyJet can confirm that flight number EZY886 from Glasgow to London Gatwick was met by police on arrival in Gatwick due to a passenger behaving disruptively and refusing to wear their face mask.

"Passengers are currently required to bring their own face mask for their flight which must be worn during boarding and onboard, for the safety of passengers and crew.

"While such incidents are rare, we take them very seriously and do not tolerate abusive or threatening behaviour on board.

"The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is our highest priority."
