Glasgow to heat up for the weekend with temperatures of 15C predicted

Glasgow's weather is finally looking like the spring weather we all needed.

Today (April 21) has seen nothing but blue skies with next to no clouds, making for a bright, blue day.

And you'll be glad to hear that thankfully this is set to continue.

Temperatures this week are set to reach 15C tomorrow (April 22) whilst the weekend will see highs of 14C across both days.

And you'll also be glad to see that there is no rain forecast with the next couple of days looking liek a good time to grab your picnic gear and head out to a local park.

So what does the weather look like for the week ahead?

Glasgow's five day weather forecast according to the Met Office

Today:

Mist and low cloud burning off this morning. Otherwise it will be a dry day with some good spells of sunshine, some high cloud around. Feeling pleasantly warm in the afternoon sunshine, especially along the west coast. Maximum temperature 16 °C.

Tonight

A dry evening and night across all parts. Some misty low cloud developing across the Central Belt and the east, but remaining mostly clear elsewhere. Minimum temperature 4 °C.

Friday

Dry with some sunny periods, overnight low cloud in the east gradually burning off through the morning. Maximum temperature 15 °C.

Outlook for Saturday to Monday

Mostly dry with variable amounts of cloud and some sunny periods. Chance of a few showers on Sunday and Monday.
