There will be no ScotRail trains running between Glasgow and Edinburgh tomorrow (September 5) on any route due to engineering works and trade union strike action.
The rail operator confirmed the news over Twitter, and also noted that there will not be any replacement buses running between Scotland's two biggest cities either.
A tweet from ScotRail read: "On Sunday, 5 September, there will be NO ScotRail services or replacement buses running between Edinburgh and Glasgow on any route due to engineering works and trade union strike action."

Only the following services will run on Sunday (5 September):
Glasgow – Ayr / Ayr – Glasgow
Glasgow – Largs / Largs - Glasgow
Glasgow – Gourock / Gourock - Glasgow
Helensburgh – Bathgate / Bathgate - Helensburgh
Balloch – Airdrie / Airdrie - Balloch
For key workers, there will be limited bus services for University Hospital Hairmyres, Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline, University Hospital Wishaw and Victoria Hospital, Kirkcaldy.
