Good news, Glasgow - the bank holiday weekend ahead is shaping up to be an April scorcher.
After months of fluctuating temperatures and rainy days we finally look set to enjoy a bit of spring - and maybe some summer thrown in too.
Weather forecasts show the city hitting the low 20s this weekend - and according to the Met Office, it will be much warmer than of late for most of this week.

After a rainy Tuesday, the sun should appear on Wednesday, allowing temperatures to rise. By Friday, the Met Office shows a tentative 17C - although some forecasts predict as high as 21 degrees - making Glasgow warmer than sunny Barcelona at just 16C.
The outlook for Wednesday to Friday reads: “A ridge of high pressure will bring dry and settled weather with sunny spells and a southeasterly breeze. It will become much warmer than of late.”
Early forecasts suggest that the good weather will continue until Sunday, with rain moving in on Monday - just in time for a duvet day so you can nurse that bank holiday hangover.
