Glasgow theatre group shares adorable Hogmanay video to help welcome in 2021

A Glasgow youth theatre group has shared a moving video to help see in the new year.

The Performance Academy performed a medley of Auld Lang Syne, Caledonia, Touch the Sky (from the film Brave) and Loch Lomond - and we think you'll agree that it's absolutely adorable.

The music video also shows the theatre group performing in various landmarks around Glasgow, from the city centre to Kelvingrove Museum and the River Clyde.

Sharing a heartfelt message on social media, The Performance Academy said they hoped next year would see live music and theatre return to the stages.

The message reads: "We hope we will soon be able to celebrate together, enjoy live arts again and perform in busy theatres.

"Here at The Performance Academy Scotland, we love to perform! This year our summer musicals, Christmas pantomimes, Edinburgh festival shows, Tron theatre performances & USA performance events were all cancelled due to Covid-19.Our students love the arts. Their passion, determination and energy continues to shine through during this incredibly difficult year.

"We long for 2021 to be a better year for us, our students, their families and for you all, around the world."

We couldn't have said it better ourselves
