Glasgow teenager missing for week sparks frantic search

A frantic search has been launched for a missing Glasgow teenager who hasn't been seen for a week.

Ismail Mersal Ismal has vanished from the Panmure Street area of the city near Possilpark.

The 17-year-old hasn't been seen since Friday, November 12.

Police are appealing for information from the public that could help trace Ismail.

Anyone who knows anything is asked to get in touch.

A post on the Glasgow North Police Twitter page said: "Have you seen Ismail Mersal ISMAL aged 17?

"He has been missing from Panmure Street Glasgow since Friday 12th of November.

"If you have any information on Ismail's whereabouts please contact 101 and quote Incident Number 0954 of 16/11/2021."
