Glasgow taxi driver’s bizarre claims about driving Calvin Harris around for £10k and helping with drug deals

A Glasgow taxi driver has made bizarre claims about driving superstar DJ Calvin Harris around for £10,000 and helping a Chinese man with drug deals.

Bewildered passenger Andrew Barnsley has gone viral on Twitter after sharing audio footage of the cabbie revealing his wild escapades.

In the first of the clips, the driver makes the outlandish claim that he chauffeurs Calvin Harris around the city when the DJ returns home - for which he’s handed a £10,000 cheque.

When the passenger asks how this comes about, the driver says: “He phones me. I’ve got his number. He phones me when he comes to Glasgow.

“If he’s here for three or four days, as I say, he’ll phone and hire a Range Rover, I pick it up, we’ve done it a few times, then at the end of it he writes the cheque and there you go.”

In a second clip, the driver claims he regularly helps a Chinese man with huge drug hauls in Edinburgh, and has done so for around six years.
