Glasgow t-shirt shop in ultimate Lewis Capaldi tribute prior to TRNSMT appearance

A Glasgow t-shirt shop has come up with the ultimate tribute to Scotland's own Lewis Capaldi prior to his visit to town tomorrow to perform at TRNSMT.

Teeshirt Nation in the Trongate area of the city centre have unveiled a massive t-shirt billboard next to their shop featuring Capaldi's infamous London Underground advert, above the hashtag #ScottishBeyonce.

Manager Jane Sweeney told Glasgow Live: "We haven't done the big t-shirt advert since The Stone Roses played at Glasgow Green back in 2013 - then we put up our own tribute to Ian Brown with his iconic 'Fools Gold' t-shirt.

"We thought, everybody loves Lewis Capaldi. He is absolutely brilliant and a funny wee guy. Scotland is dead proud of him. And it's a wee play on the beef he has with Noel Gallagher also.

"Maybe he'll come buy and get his photo taken underneath before his set tomorrow."

And despite only being put up earlier today, the billboard - which is located at the junction of King Street and Kings Court - has already proven popular with folk on their way to TRNSMT at Glasgow Green for day two of the festival.

"We are just round the corner so people have been stopping by already to get their photo taken and there's even been folk in their cars driving by beeping their horns at our wee welcome to Lewis coming back to Glasgow."

According to the shop, the tribute will stay up until Tuesday.

So if your heading to TRNSMY swing by Glasgow and get your pick taken and uploaded to Insta before it goes down - and that goes for the main man himself Lewis Capaldi too!
