A Glasgow Subway worker is being probed by bosses over alleged 'offensive' tweets.
In a statement the subway operators SPT said they condemned all 'racist, homophobic and sectarian views' after being alerted to social media statements.
They added that staff had been given social media guidance and the matter was being investigated by HR.
A Tweet from Glasgow Subway today read: "We are aware of offensive tweets expressed by an employee.
"SPT utterly condemns all racist, homophobic and sectarian views.
"All staff are aware of our social media guidance, as part of our Code of Conduct. This matter has been reported to HR and due process will now be followed."
