Glasgow Subway suspended due to circuit fault

The Glasgow Subway has been suspended as a result of a 'circuit fault'.

SPT confirmed the disruption shortly after 1.45pm this afternoon (Saturday), and advised that their maintenance team is currently working on the fault to restore services.

Both the inner and outer circles are affected.

Glasgow Subway confirmed over Twitter: "Inner & Outer Circle currently suspended due to a circuit fault in the system. Our maintenance team is working to fix and we hope to be back up and running shortly. Update to follow. Apologies for the inconvenience."

UPDATE 2.03PM: Glasgow Subway have confirmed: "Inner and Outer Circle now running, all services back to normal. Many thanks for your patience and apologies for the inconvenience."
