Glasgow Subway inner circle suspended for evening 'due to operational issues'

The Glasgow Subway Inner Circle has been suspended for the rest of the evening 'due to operational issues'.

Services are operating on the Outer Circle only, with people advised to allow extra time for travel.

Glasgow Subway confirmed the news via a tweet around 18:20pm.

It read: "Apologies all, Inner Circle is suspended for the rest of the evening due to operational issues. Services on Outer Circle only, please allow extra time for travel. Apologies for the inconvenience."

It comes after the Inner Circle was suspended yesterday due to a fault on the line.
