Glasgow Subway: Both circles closed due to casualty on the tracks

Glasgow Subway services have been suspended amid reports of a 'casualty on the tracks' at Kelvinbridge station.

SPT bosses say both Inner and Outer Circles have been halted due to a passenger related incident.

British Transport Police confirmed there was a 'casualty' on the tracks.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: "We were called to Kelvinbridge Subway Station today 3.50p after reports of a casualty on the tracks."

They remain at the scene with paramedics.

Glasgow Subway bosses issued an apology and confirmed that emergency services were at the scene.

They tweeted: "Both circles currently suspended due to a passenger related incident. Emergency services are in attendance.  Apologies for the inconvenience. Updates to follow."
