Glasgow station assault: Search to find victim attacked by man on train

Police are looking to find the victim of an attack on a train at a station in Glasgow's east end.

The incident happened at around 8.50pm at Carmyle Station when a man was struck in the face by another man as he got off the train.

The man is described as 30 years old, of medium build, bald, with tattoos down the left side of his face and neck. He was also with another man who is described as 30 years old, bald, of medium build wearing a light-coloured t-shirt, jeans and carrying a plastic bag.

The victim has not yet made contact with the police and despite local enquiries, officers from British Transport Police (BTP) have been unable to identify him. Officers are appealing for him to come forward to assist the investigation.
