Glasgow stabbings: first Park Inn victim released from hospital

One person who was admitted to hospital after being stabbed during the Park Inn hotel attack on Friday has been discharged from hospital.

One of the victims remains in a critical but stable condition, while the other four are described as being in a 'stable' condition.

42-year-old police officer David Whyte is among those considered 'stable'.

Police have advised that three of the victims were asylum seekers staying at the hotel and the other two injured are hotel staff.

The ages of those injured, who are all male, have been confirmed as 17, 18, 20, 38 and 53 as well as 42-year-old Constable Whyte.
