Glasgow south side: Police share CCTV images of man after bus incident on Pollokshaws Road

Police have shared images of a man after an incident on a bus in the south side of Glasgow.

Detectives say they are investigating events that took place on the evening of Tuesday May 29 while the bus was travelling along Pollokshaws Road.

They have not confirmed the nature of the incident, but say they want to speak to the man pictured as part of their investigation.

He is described as early 30s, of medium build, wearing a Nike zipper top with a solid white line down both arms, blue fabric shorts, a black face mask and white coloured trainers. He also has a distinctive tattoo on his left calf.

Anyone with information is encouraged to come forward.

A Police Scotland statement published this afternoon advised: "CCTV images released following incident on bus, Glasgow

"Police Scotland has released images of a man they believe may be able to assist them with enquiries into an incident that occurred on board a First Bus service.

"It happened around 6.15pm on Tuesday, 29, May 2021, whilst it was travelling south on Pollokshaws Road, Glasgow.


"The man is described as early 30s, of medium build, wearing a Nike zipper top with a solid white line down both arms, blue fabric shorts, a black face mask and white coloured trainers. He also has a distinctive tattoo on his left calf.

"Officers believe this man may be able to assist them as part of their ongoing enquiries. The man, or anyone who has any information or recognises him, is asked to please call officers at the CID at Aikenhead Road Police Office via 101, quoting incident number 3225 of 29 May. Alternatively, please call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
