Residents in the south side of Glasgow have been left without electricity after a power cut.
SP Energy Networks say they first became aware of the issue shortly after 2pm.
Engineers are currently working on the issue and it's hoped power will be back up and running by 5.30pm this evening.
SP Energy Networks confirmed: "There is a power cut affecting the G43 postcode area of Glasgow. We did not know in advance there would be a power cut, and became aware of this at 2:13pm.
"Our next available engineer will attend site and the team will work to get your power back on as quickly and as safely as possible by 5:30pm.Once they arrive, or when we receive any update regarding the cause, we will be able to provide you with more information.
"We apologise for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience."
Homes in the following postcodes have been affected: G431JJ, G431JL, G431JN, G431JW.
