The Met Office has issued an urgent snow update for Glasgow this weekend - with three days of yellow weather warnings ahead.
Friday 4, Saturday 5 and Sunday 6 February have all been issued yellow weather warnings for both snow and ice - with motorists urged to stay safe on the roads.
The remainder of today is set see snowy showers until 9pm this evening, with temperatures set to plummet to 2C.
The Met Office forecasts for this evening: "Wintry showers, quite frequent across most, and heavy at times bringing the risk of hail and thunderstorms to the west.
"Icy patches are likely especially on untreated surfaces, leading to tricky travel conditions in places".

Tomorrow, Saturday 5 February, a yellow weather warning is in place for snow across Glasgow until 3pm on Sunday.
The Met Office warns: "Heavy snow showers may lead to some travel disruption, especially over high routes.
"Some roads and railways may be affected with longer journey times by road, bus and train services."
Sunday will see lows of just 1C as the yellow weather warning lifts and sleet showers and gusty winds are expected to batter the city.
Monday will warm up considerably to highs of 11C and lows of 9C.
