Snow is predicted to hit Glasgow later this month with temperatures set to plummet to freezing.
According to forecaster AccuWeather, the city will see "snow and rain" starting from January 24 - with lows of 0 degrees Celsius.
The following four consecutive days are all also set to bring snow as temperatures hover around 0C.

Things look to warm up slightly on January 28, after which temperatures will again fall.
According to AccuWeather, the month will end with snow and rain on January 30 and freezing temperatures on January 31.
The cold weather also looks set to continue into early February, with "snow and rain at times" expected on the first day of the month.

Before then though, Glasgow will enjoy some relatively mild weather.
According to BBC Weather, the temperature will hover just below 10C for the remainder of this week.
There will be brief sunny spells on Tuesday and Wednesday, but after that the city will be covered in "thick cloud" going into the weekend.
