A 'first of its kind' food spot is coming to Glasgow following the news of Frites' arrival.
Due to open on Hope Street, right by Glasgow Central Station, Frites will serve up the city's 'first of its own kind Belgian hand cut fries'.
Replacing the Cookies fish and chip bar at 31 Hope Street, next to popular Italian restaurant La Lanterna, an opening date has yet to be set for Glasgow's latest takeaway however owners have announced it will be 'opening soon'.

The venue will be open daily between 11.30am and 11pm.
A look at the menu shows the fries will be 'twice cooked, crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside', with original sauces, seasonings and warm sauces all available as toppings.
Meanwhile, hungry Glaswegians will also be able to tuck in to the likes of fully loaded dirty fries such as the Tex Mex Explosion and Cheese Bonanza, while pizzas, milkshakes and smoothies also make their way on to the menu.
