Glasgow Science Centre Planetarium to host complete screening of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon

We've got some good news for the new year which will go down well with Pink Floyd fans in Glasgow

The Planetarium at Glasgow's Science Centre will once again be showing a complete screening of the legendary group's classic album, the Dark Side of the Moon.

In what promises to be a 'sound and visual extravaganza' the full album will be played in Dolby 5.1 sound with stunning graphics projected onto the Planetarium's immersive 15m dome.

They're doing it three times in early 2020, but there's only tickets left for the third of those dates, on February 1 at 8.30pm.

And prior to the main feature a expert team of astronomers will take guests on a tour of the cosmos, beyond the dark side of the Moon to the very edge of the known universe, using the digital planetarium.

The Science Centre have previously sold out tickets in record time to these showings, so we advise getting in there quick for these last available slots.

Screenings begin at 8.30pm and finish at 10pm.

Tickets cost £15 per person and can be booked online via the Science Centre.

Please note this event is for over 18’s only. The screening begins prompt at the advertised start time and no latecomers will be admitted.
