A six-year-old Glasgow girl who stars alongside Martin Compston in BBC drama The Nest has shared a special message for our NHS heroes amid the coronavirus crisis.
Maddison Green, who plays Frankie in the hit thriller, suffers from a rare muscle disease called juvenile dermatomyositis, attending the Glasgow's Royal Hospital For Children once a week for treatment.
And she has appeared on the screen once more, this time in a Facebook video address to fellow patients and staff at the hospital, wishing them a happy easter while encouraging them to say safe.
Maddison said: "I go to the hospital for infusions and I wish all the children at the hospital a Happy Easter.
"And [thank you] to all the staff in the hospital for all their hard work to make all the kids better.
"And keep safe!".
Madison, who comes from the Blairdardie area in the north west of Glasgow, appears in episodes two, three and four of The Nest as the daughter of character James, played by fellow Glasgow actor James Harkness.
The schoolgirl is a student at the UK Theatre School and after a successful audition, landed a role in the popular show, much of which is filmed in and around Glasgow.
Meanwhile, the childrens' hospital have launched an online fundraiser to secure vital resources for staff and its patients in response to the covid-19 outbreak.
