A Glasgow schoolgirl has gone viral with her brutal takedown of the Tory leadership candidates during their BBC debate.
Many viewers watching Our Next Prime Minister called for the 15-year-old to become to next PM after she slammed all five candidates’ responses to tackling climate change.
Erin appeared on the show to ask if any of them would commit to zero carbon emissions by 2025 - and she wasn’t too impressed with their answers.
The hopefuls gave vague responses, with none of them committing to the target.
When asked by presenter Emily Maitlis who made an impression on her, she said: “None of you have impressed me in the way I’m looking for.
“Climate change isn’t an issue of tomorrow, it is an issue of today.
“We need to take drastic, critical action and I don’t think any of you are willing to offer that, so, thank you.”
The five candidates sat looking uncomfortable with Boris scratching his head and looking at his four opponents.
But on Twitter, many users were singing Erin’s praises, with some even calling for the teen to become our next Prime Minister.
One viewer tweeted: "Erin speaks for the nation.”
Another wrote: “Can we just have 15 year old Erin from Glasgow for #TheNextPrimeMinister please? Thanks.
A third said: “Took a 15yr old on the programme to tell the truth.”
