A Glasgow hair salon is offering free haircuts until the end of the year "as times are tough".
The fantastic gesture has been made by Amethyst Professional Salon, which is based on the ground floor of the City of Glasgow College on Cathedral Street.
They posted on social media: "Here at Amethyst we have decided to offer free haircuts in the salon till the end of the year as we understand times are tough.
"We have a limited number of spaces to fill so once we have exceeded the limit we will post on our socials to let you know."
