Glasgow's Willow Tea Rooms plays starring role in latest episode of Bargain Hunt

Glasgow's Willow Tea Rooms will no doubt play host to some additional visitors from across the country in the near future after playing a starring role in the latest episode of Bargain Hunt.

The majestic tea rooms on Sauchiehall Street were featured throughout the episode - a 20th Century special which celebrates all things 20th century and collectable.

The episode sees Glasgow-born presenter Natasha Raskin Sharp wander around the tea rooms and highlight the incredible Charles Rennie Mackintosh treasures to be found within it - including his elegant curved-back Willow chair.

One of Glasgow's top historic attractions, the tea rooms reopened to the public last month following a successful crowdfunding campaign to help safeguard their future.

Thanks to over £20,000 in donations from the public, the tea rooms is he tearooms is "looking its best" with refinished floors, a fresh coat of paint on the building exterior and with the Salon de Luxe looking as it did when it opened its stained-glass doors back in 1903.
