Glasgow's west end has been named one of the coolest places to live in the UK, according to a new national survey.
The survey by Naturecan placed our leafy west end at 12th on their list of the Top 50 Coolest Places to Live.
However, we're shocked to say that we were beaten by the capital, with Leith in Edinburgh coming in at number seven on the list. There's no accounting for taste, we suppose!

Naturecan said they "conducted a national survey to find out the coolest places to live in the UK in 2023, as voted for by the general public."
The top spot was claimed by Polperro in Cornwall due to being the "perfect palace to watch the sunset, grab some drinks and relax in a sleepy seaside village".
It was followed by Wells-next-the-Sea in Norfolk thanks to its "perfect, family-friendly seaside location".
Other areas which made it to the list included Rosemount in Aberdeen at 27 and Broughty Ferry in Dundee at 33.
What do you think of the ranking - is there anywhere else in Glasgow that you would put in a claim to be the coolest place to live in the UK?
