Glasgow's West End Festival to host Autumn Solstice Fire Show this month

Summer is coming to an end and as your granny would say, the nights are fair drawin' in.

Love or hate it, Autumn will soon be upon us and it'll be time to dig our your wooly jumpers and get cosy.

To help get us in the spirit, Glasgow's West End Festival is returning later this month to whisk us off to the circus.

The Autumn Solstice Fire Show will deliver a theatrical night of circus skills, and fire performances.

Taking at Kelvingrove's Art Gallery's South Front, the event will be held on Sunday, September 19 from 9pm to 10.30pm.

The event description reads: "Join the West End Festival to celebrate the Autumn Solstice with a unique evening of fire, theatre, circus skills & music.

"Join performers from Think Circus who will enrapture you with a specially written story told through expressive fire performance, atmospheric music, awesome feats of circus pyrotechnics and more."

So if you're in the mood for some spectacular circus tricks, be sure to head along to the west end later this month. To find out more, visit the website here.
