Glasgow's St. Enoch Centre raises over £12,000 for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity

Glasgow’s St. Enoch Centre has raised over £12,000 for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity - thanks to the success of several fundraising events which took place in the centre over the last 12 months.

Fundraising activities including a prize draw to win a Mini Electric worth £29,000 and festive events including SEN Santa sessions, present wrapping classes and “Meet Santa Experience” were just some of the events that contributed to the grand total raised for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.

St. Enoch Centre’s staff also participated in a static cycling challenge to support the young patients across Scotland.

The money raised by the centre will directly support the work of the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, Scotland’s busiest children’s hospital.

Anne Ledgerwood, Centre Director of St. Enoch Centre, said: “I am extremely proud of the team at St. Enoch for all their hard work in fundraising for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity. We are in admiration of the incredible service delivered by the charity, and are just pleased to be part of their efforts to support young children and their families.”

William McGowan, Head of Partnerships & Events at Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity, said: “We would like to share our heartfelt thanks with St. Enoch Shopping Centre for their continued support through another challenging year. Staff and customers showed such incredible generosity in 2021, helping us be there for seriously ill children in hospital, their families, and our NHS heroes when they needed us most.

"We look forward to continuing our partnership with St. Enoch Shopping Centre, doing all we can together to support young patients with our charity-funded hospital projects and support services.”
