Glasgow's September weekend weather - it's going to be a sunny, cold one

Amidst the coronavirus news this week, it's almost been easy to forget it's the September weekend - and we're heading straight into a cold snap.

So if you're heading out this weekend, remember to bring the de-icer, and get your scarves out! Autumn is officially here. Here's a quick rundown of the weather.

This morning:

Many places will have a dry and largely clear night. It's going to become rather cold with a slight frost possible inland. Minimum temperature 1 C.

After a chilly start many places will be dry and sunny. Brisk northerly winds along exposed coasts at first, this easing down through the morning.

The maximum temperature today will be 14 °C - make sure you get cosied up because in the wind it will feel colder.

Sunday to Tuesday:

Early frost in places on Sunday then dry and sunny.

It'll be colder today than Saturday, as the maximum temperature will be 12C.

It'll get slightly milder as rain is moving east early on Monday, brighter with the odd shower by Monday afternoon.

Have a good September weekend!
