Here at Glasgow Live, there's nothing we enjoy more than a pint of beer or a sip of gin in the sunshine.
So news that a festival dedicated to both is coming to Glasgow is music to our ears - if not our waistlines.
The Shawlands Beer and Gin Festival will be returning to the southside for the second time, and we can't wait.
Pollok Park will play host to the event this June - giving us plenty of time to for the sun to heat up in preparation for a major day out.
Experts behind your favourite beer companies and distilleries will introduce you to the good stuff, helping you figure out your IPAs from your larger and, of course, suss out your favourite gin tipple of choice.
It’s being billed as bringing together the very best of gin and beer - and along with quaffing drinks, you’ll also be enjoy some free samples.
Organisers said: "Following our first massively successful event we are coming back for a second year Covid tried to keep us at bay but now we are back and bigger than ever!
"Bigger main bar, more distillers and more beer companies, some new and some of last years favourites will be in attendance.
"A brilliant day last year enjoyed by over 1200 people, we have increased the capacity for our 2022 event and hope you will join us."
The Shawlands Beer and Gin Festival will take place on Saturday, June 25th at Dumbreck Playing Fields.
If you’re a gin or beer devotee then it may be time to grab your pals and book in an outing to the southside...
Tickets are £7 and you can find out more over on the Facebook event page.
We’ll see you there, Glasgow. We’ll be the ones hitting up the gin and pints - in moderation, of course!
