Glasgow's Paul Black announces one-night-only show at Oran Mor

He's already a star of TikTok and Twitter but now Paul Black is set to become a star of the stage.

After cutting his teeth with his first run of solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe this week, the writer, director, and actor from Corkerhill has announced a one-night-only show in Glasgow.

Paul will be bringing his sold-out show Worst Case Scenario to the Oran Mor on October 1.

The show has been described as an 'insight into the self-pity and self-party that guided him through lockdown' and will see him bringing characters old and new to life on the stage, alongside special guests Mark Black and Kendra McPherson.

Paul has amassed over 100 million views on his online comedy sketches catching the attention of the likes of Limmy and Frankie Boyle along the way.

Clips including him playing an American tourist in Glasgow mispronouncing key landmarks, poking fun at Police Scotland and ScotRail, have propelled him to viral sensation status over the last 12 months.

He told Glasgow Live back in April: "Most of it is based on the people around me. I"ve had a lot of s****y jobs, good material from random customers and people I work with, stories from other people. I'm really observant of people's nuances and traits. That makes it sound deeper than it is though."

We can't wait to see what belters he's got in store for us at his Glasgow show.

If you're looking to get your hands on tickets, you better act quick because if it's anything like his fringe show, it's going to sell out fast.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday, August 20 and can be purchased here.
