Glasgow's newest vintage store to open on St Enoch Square this Saturday

A brand new vintage store is opening in Glasgow city centre.

The Vintage Scene is opening at 38 St Enoch Square on Saturday March 5 – selling "trend-led" secondhand clothes, mostly from the 80s, 90s and 2000s.

Run by James Davis and Shannon Carberry, the company opened its first store in Leicester five years ago and opened in Newcastle last year. They have kept business ticking over during lockdown through the online shop.

James said: "We are looking to buck the trend of high street shop closures and will be opening our brand new sustainable fashion store 'The Vintage Scene' in the city centre.

"I feel like COP26 has brought a lot of awareness to how important sustainability is – and we feel it is important that sustainable choices are available on the high street.

"We have a younger customer base and a wide appeal amongst those who like to dress fashionably whilst not having to bear the guilt that comes with fast fashion."
