Glasgow’s most popular taxi routes revealed

Increasingly bad weather, chilly temperatures and dark nights inspire one thing in us all: avoiding a tussle with an umbrella and hopping into the warmth of a cab. 

But what journeys do Glaswegians make most frequently?

have unveiled the most popular city journeys taken by customers – and a guide to what it would cost if you select the fixed price on their app.

Travelling between Queen Street and Central Station tops the list, with the fixed price costing £5.

Central Station to Buchanan Street Bus station was number two on the list and travelling from the west end to city centre came in third.

2.      Central Station to Buchanan St Bus station - £6

3.      West End eg Byres Road to City Centre (any of three stations) - £9
