If you're looking for something spooky to do in the run up to Halloween, a new app is giving people a chance to explore the city in a new light.
Glasgow: Haunted City Exploration Game and Tour is like a guided tour but the guide is your phone and instead of tourist hotspots and great places to eat it shows you the city’s most haunted buildings and the sites of grisly stories.
Starting at Glasgow Central Station, players can follow the app’s lead to the next gruesome spot.
You won’t need to use your map as the app gives you clear directions.
A bit like a mix between a ghost-busting experience and a treasure hunt, the app will take players to disused prisons and the places where witches locked up with thieves.

The app is also interactive and so players will need to solve clues to uncover the stories.
You can do the eerie tour solo, as a twosome or in a group – one person can purchase access for all of you by selecting the number of people in their group. You can also split your group into teams and compete against each other.
No spoilers but the it will take in Glasgow City Chambers, the Merchant City Clock Tower and the Britannia Panopticon Music Hall.
The Glasgow: Haunted City Exploration Game and Tour costs £17.27 but is currently on offer for £10.36 for up to two players.
You must be at the starting point in front of Central Station to play the game and it takes about one and a half hours to complete.
