By Carla Jenkins

Ah Glasgow, we love you and your dear green places.

And we aren't alone - new data has found that outside of London, Kelvingrove is Scotland's most loved park, and 5th in the whole of the UK.

The study by PoundToy looked at the park visitors’ Tripadvisor reviews and annual Google searches , scoring the parks out of 10 for each review factor to reveal the most loved parks across the UK.

And of course, Kelvingrove park was the first Scottish park on the list, coming in 5th in the whole of the UK.

Beat just by Christ Church Meadow in Oxfordshire which got a 6.62 rating out of 10 and the Seven Sisters Country Park in East Sussex, which got a 6.50 out of 10, we are mighty proud of our wee Kelvingrove.

She got a 6.31 rating out of 10, beating the likes of Edinburgh's Meadow's and even Glasgow's own Glasgow Green.

Rankings were based on a number of factors, including the Trip Advisor score, the number of reviews and Google searches - and of course, what those reviews said.

So a big well done to Kelvingrove Park, which has a space in all our hearts.
