Glasgow's Irn-Bru Carnival to return to SEC Centre in December - and tickets go on sale tomorrow

Great new folks, Scotland’s favourite festive family day out is back!

After it was cancelled last year due to the pandemic, the hugely popular Irn-Bru Carnival is returning to the SEC Centre from December 22 to January 16 - and tickets go on sale tomorrow.

Packed with thrill rides, family rides, and children’s rides, as well as games, stalls and an inflatable play area for the little ones, it will no doubt be an unmissable event in the festive calendar for thousands of Glaswegians.

The last event in 2019 saw Europe's largest indoor funfair celebrate its 100th birthday with its biggest event so far, combining the old with the new to celebrate the huge milestone as they gave thanks to the carnival-goers and showmen from across the ages.

This year's carnival runs from Wednesday, December 22 to Sunday, January 16 (closed on December 25), with autism-friendly sessions running on both Friday, December 31 and Tuesday, 11 January.

General admission tickets will cost £16, with Young Scot / Kidz Card holders paying £13, concessions £10 and kids 3 or under going for free.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (September 23) at 10am via the carnival website here.
