A project that provides lifesaving support to homeless people is running low on supplies.
Homeless Street Team Glasgow launched in October last year and has seen a major grow in demand for essentials such as food and clothing.
The group’s unpaid volunteers take to the streets of the city two evenings each week to assist the homeless.
They rely on donations of food, clothing and toiletries which are handed out to those they encounter in need on the street.
Vital supplies are once again running low and the group have issued an urgent appeal for livesaving supplies.
A statement on their Facebook page reads: "As you can imagine our services are in high demand!
"Our shelves are starting to get pretty empty again, We rely solely on the generous people of Glasgow to donate to run our services."
In particular, Homeless Street Team Glasgow are looking for men's trousers, men's trainers, men's underwear - new or clean, men's jackets, men's jackets, men's socks, men's hats, ladies' underwear, ladies' socks, jarred hot dogs, crisps, bottles or cans of juice, hot chocolate, polystyrene bowls, coffee and tea cups and latex gloves.
The charity has drop offs in Bargeddie, Duke Street, Bridgeton, Southside and the city centre.
