Glasgow's Holmwood House to be investigated by paranormal researchers

A historic Glasgow building is set to get the Most Haunted treatment by a group of paranormal researchers.

Holmwood House in Cathcart will be the location of the next Lanarkshire Paranormal investigation. The house, designed by Alexander 'Greek' Thomson, dates back to 1857 and is widely regarded as the Scottish architect's finest domestic creation.

The home was recently restored to its former glory - but will the work have disturbed any lingering occupants from years gone by? The team at Lanarkshire Paranormal will be working to find that out.

The organisation investigates locations across the UK with the latest hi-tech equipment with the aim of finding the truth behind the sightings and reports 'that have been debated for centuries'.

Holmwood House will be investigated on August 27 with the public invited to come experience any activity for themselves.

Lanarkshire Paranormal has promised an exciting night for lucky ticketholders. Their website reads: "We return to Holmwood House by popular demand.

"Our previous visit included the lights turning on and off and blowing, figures in the mirrors following us, voices and much much more. Holmwood House was owned by nuns from after WWII up until the 1990s and designed by Alexander Thomson."

Tickets for the night, which will take place between 8pm and 2am, are priced at £35pp and are available from here.
