Panther Milk Bar is set to close the doors for good at its current location within Tabac.
The team behind Glasgow's favourite hidden bar made an "abrupt" announcement via their social media pages this evening.
But there is a ray of light at the end of the tunnel for regular patrons of the venue (which has been serving up from Mitchell Lane since 2015) as they are planning to move on to pastures new!
They say: "It is with great sadness that we have to announce our tenure within Tabac has come to an abrupt end. We have loved every minute and sincerely thank everyone who has supported the Panther Milk Bar over the last 4 and a bit years. Sorry but bookings for this weekend will have to be cancelled."
"We have a brand new location and are really excited about it! All will be announced in the next week or two. Launch will be Friday 18th October."
The self-described "illicit drinking den" made its name serving up the notorious Leche de Pantera – a blend of milk, rum, gin, Cointreau, peppermint and cinnamon.
So we think there will be more than a few of you who will be excited to find out where you can find your favourite tipple from now on!
