Well, it was only last week we were telling you readers that Christmas is just around the corner.
At that point we were reporting on how the popular Christmas fairy lights were being strung up in Royal Exchange square.
And now, only around the corner, the Christmas lights are also being put up in George Square - meaning Christmas is quite literally just around the corner!
If you go to George Square today (stay away from the sink hole!) you will see that everyone's favourite Christmas lights are in the process of being erected around the square.

And we also managed to report today that a number of buildings around the city centre will be lit up to spread 'festive cheer'.
Love Glasgow This Christmas will include light shows projected onto Buchanan Galleries, Royal Concert Hall and the Buck's Head building at the St Enoch Centre on Argyle Street.
George Square and the city centre will be home to the Christmas tree, festive lights and the Nativity as well as the usual lights around the square.
Plans for Christmas markets are also set to be confirmed soon.
Currently, huge booms are in place, and the squares that house giant snowflakes and other Christmas images are lying on the grass ready to be strung up.
Of course, this doesn't mean the lights will be turned on just yet - plans for the switch on are still to be confirmed and someone of note or charity members will usually come to press the button.
And of course we still have Halloween to come up!
But for now, know that the festivities are (almost) upon us, and pretty soon sleigh bells will be ringing...
