Glasgow's five day weather forecast as Met Office predict sunny week ahead

Glasgow is set for a sunny week according to weather forecasters despite having been originally predicted to be rather bleak.

Last week it was set to be cloudy with very little sun.

But now this has all changed and it's a better forecast that we thought.

So what does the weather look like for the next five days?

The Met Office has predicted that tonight (April 25) will be "dry with variable cloud, well broken at times with some clear spells. However, the cloud could become more extensive through the Central Belt overnight."

There will also be light winds where temperature will drip to 3C.

Tomorrow will also remain "dry and bright with occasional sunny spells" with the best of any sunshine said to be later in the evening with a maximum temperature 15C and lows of 4C.

From Wednesday to Friday high pressure will continue to "dominate the weather with dry, settled conditions for the rest of the week. There will be sunny spells with a risk of frost at night"
