Glasgow's chilling history to be explored in after-dark walking tour this Halloween

Glasgow's dark history is to be explored in a night-time walking tour this Halloween.

The fascinating tour will shed light on the city's past – including its shameful links with the slave trade during the 18th century.

Groups will be led through the streets as they hear tales of the notorious inmates at the infamous Duke Street Prison, cold-blooded murders and blood-curdling ghost stories...

Walking Tours founder Jenny told Glasgow Live they're keeping the details and the tour route under wraps... But insists the excursions will "shock you to your core."

The tours are around one-and-a-half hours long and take place each evening between October 30 and November 2, leaving from Glasgow Cathedral at 7pm.

Tickets are priced from £12 and you can get them on Eventbrite. Check out Walking Tours in Glasgow for more info.
