Glasgow's 20 top NHS and council bosses have amassed as staggering £2.5million wage packet in a single year.
Just five NHS senior board members earned almost three quarters of a million between.
Chief executive Jane Grant was paid £166,119, with medical director Dr Jennifer Armstrong on £176,123 and director of public health Dr Linda de Caestecker earning £112,070.
The health authority stumps up £132,894 to employ nurse director Dr Margaret McGuire and a further £142,423 for finance director Mark White.
Meanwhile Glasgow City Council forked out £1,773,494 to cover the cost of paying 14 of it's top officials.
Chief Executive Annemarie O'Donnell earned an annual huge salary of £187,626, closely followed by two of her executive directors, Maureen McKenna (education), who is due to retire this year, and George Gillespie (land and environment) - each on £147,148 a year.
Figures for the financial year 2020/21 show a £142,964 pay packet awarded to Martin Booth, who heads the council's financial services department, followed by social work boss Susanne Miller on £138,901.
Director of finance and business Morag Johnston and council solicitor Carole Forrest, each on £122,014 with a further six executives earning £109,827 a year, followed by a further one on £106,717.
