0k Starting outside Glasgow Club Gorbals, turn right along Ballater Street, right at the traffic lights then left on a path past the College to take you along the River Clyde. Cross at Tradeston Bridge – you’ll have a long, straight run down the river for a while now, so use it as an opportunity to put in some speed.
3k Just before 3k, pause to take a picture of the stunning Clyde Arc (known locally as Squinty Bridge). The superior 20.7MP camera on your Xperia Z3 also has ISO 12,800 light sensitivity, meaning you can capture this beautiful bridge even in the low light of dawn or dusk.
4k Ahead of you will be the crazily shaped Riverside Museum.
Take the path to its car park, following it round alongside the River Kelvin and under the Clydeside Expressway. When you reach the cycle path, go right then left onto Ferry Road.
6k At this point, you’ll be in the lush greenery of Kelvingrove Park. At the children’s playground, turn right onto North Claremont Street. As you then head down Elderslie Street, take a left when you reach the pyramid of Anderston Kelvingrove Church.
10k By the time you cross the Albert Bridge, you’ll have 10k in sight. The lights at Ballater Street are your finish point.
