Emergency services remain at the scene on Pollokshaws Road, near to the Pollock Estate entrance, after being called at around 3.05pm on Wednesday.

A cordon has been put in place blocking off the busy road, while police enquiries into the circumstances of the crash remain ongoing.

Eyewitnesses have seen a heavy police presence in the area with traffic being stopped a short distance away, Glasgow Live reports.

Photos from the scene also show a number of ambulances in attendance with an area taped off at the junction of Pollokshaws Road and Haggs Road.

Police have confirmed that the two injured people, including the 19-year-old teenager, have been taken to hospital.

The extent of their injuries is not currently known.
