Police are at the scene of a 'major incident' on Glasgow Road in Kirkintilloch.
East Dunbartonshire Council confirmed cops have closed Glasgow Road between the Peel Park roundabout and the Torrance roundabout.
They said: "Police Scotland have closed Glasgow Road in Kirkintilloch between the Peel Park Roundabout and the Torrance Roundabout due to a major incident. We will update here when we hear when the road is reopened to traffic."
A Police Scotland confirmed to Glasgow Live officers are currently on the scene, while we await further details of the incident.
