A Glasgow restaurant is to host a special tasting menu as part of Estrella Galicia Gastronomy month - the UK’s biggest Spanish food festival.
The month-long 'exploration of Spanish gastronomy', which takes place from September 1 to 30, is being celebrated in locations across the UK and Ireland at over 90 of the nation’s best loved Spanish pubs, bars and restaurants.
And among them is Finnieston favourite Rioja, on Argyle Street, which will be serving up a menu that combines local and seasonal Scottish produce with the vibrant diverse flavours and textures of traditional Spanish recipes.

Hosted by Rioja head chef Miguel Ángel Major - who headed up the kitchen at Sucede in Valencia when it won a Michelin star in 2017 - the tasting menu will be paired with Estrella Galicia beers.
The mouthwatering menu includes dishes such as beetroot gazpacho, chistorra chorizo, chicken black pudding tart, ‘surf and turf’ pork belly with prawns and chocolate with hazelnuts and beer foam.
The special tasting menu will be held at Rioja on Thursday, September 22. Tickets, costing £55pp, are available here
