A Glasgow restaurant has been named one of the top 20 places in the world to grab a burger according to leading travel site.

The iconic Bread Meats Bread, which has three restaurants in Glasgow and another trio in Edinburgh, has become a must visit for foodies who want to tantalise their taste buds with unique toppings alongside two juicy patties.

Each contender was scored in a variety of categories including value for money, consistency (google and critic reviews), innovation, atmosphere and both location and accessibility, Bread Meats Bread was ranked against joints all over the world including America, Australia and Europe.

Commenting on their decision to place the burger joint amongst the elite in the world, judges said: "You could play it safe with one of the classics, but we recommend going all out and opting for the Wolf Burger. It’s a bacon cheeseburger loaded with pulled pork in tangy BBQ sauce, crispy fried onions and gochujang mayo.

"Patties are made of three different cuts of dry-aged grass-fed Scotch beef from small Perthshire farms too. A word to the wise: come hungry, the portions are huge."

If you fancy grabbing a bite to eat the restaurants are located on St Vincent Street, the Glasgow Fort Shopping Park and Great Western Road.
