We love to celebrate Glasgow's achievements, and with one of our favourite restaurants making the Top 50 in the UK cut, today is just a good as any!
There are hundreds of fantastic gastropubs in Glasgow of course - but this west end favourite has made it to the annual list of the' The 50 Best Gastropubs In The UK.
Taking heed of all the gastropubs in Scotland, England, Northern Ireland and Wales, this list by Global Travel Site Big 7 Travel has found everyone's favourites.

Their list is compiled through a combined score of reader's suggestions throughout the year, online user reviews and Big 7 Travel's editorial team.
From London boozers with creative small plates to local country inns boasting a Michelin Star, most places in the list are "shining a light on regional British ingredients."
And the Glasgow addition is west end favourite Stravaigin, coming in at a cool 41st.
The list says that Stravagin has made the cut for "taking a global approach to the concept of a traditional British gastropub".
It adds: "Stravaigin's menu is a jewel of different cuisines whilst relying on incredible local produce. As they say themselves, the food here is ‘exotically Scottish’. Examples? Duck liver parfait with blood orange jam and sunflower seed granola or their homemade haggis."
And they are no stranger to using more unconventional ingredients, coming up with gourmet concoctions from wild ingredients like grey squirrel, hedgerow herbs and sea urchins.
