Glasgow restaurants extend Eat Out to Help Out offer into October

Two Glasgow restaurants have announced they are extending their Eat Out to Help Out offer into October.

Popular city centre Thai restaurant Chaophraya will continue to discount 50% off food bills - up to £10 per person - on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays next month.

Chaophraya, which is found in The Townhouse at Nelson Mandela Place, just off Buchanan Street, was one of the many restaurants to extend the government's Eat Out to Help Out scheme from August into September.

Meanwhile Mitchell Street's Barolo, the recently refurbished and reopened Italian restaurant, has also committed to continue the customer offer next month.

At the beginning of this month, Glasgow Live reported Glaswegians had claimed 1.3million meals through the scheme, with businesses claiming back a grand total of over £8.2million. Over 1,500 restaurants in the city took part in the scheme in August.

To find out more about Chaophraya's offer and the delicious Thai meals being served up in the city centre, you can visit the restaurant on Instagram, here.
